- 1/2 c butter (1 stick)
- 1 c all-purpose flour
- 1 c sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 c milk
- 2 c fresh raspberries or blackberries
- Melt butter in a 10 inch round or square baking dish (or similar size).
- Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl. Add milk and stir until well-blended.
- Spoon batter over melted butter. Pour berries over the batter.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until crust is golden. Serve warm.
