Creeping Crust Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c butter (1 stick)
  • 1 c all-purpose flour
  • 1 c sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 c milk
  • 2 c fresh raspberries or blackberries

Directions:

  • Melt butter in a 10 inch round or square baking dish (or similar size).
  • Mix flour, sugar, and baking powder in a bowl. Add milk and stir until well-blended.
  • Spoon batter over melted butter. Pour berries over the batter.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until crust is golden. Serve warm.
