- 1 c heavy cream
- 1 Tbs buttermilk
- Pint jar
- Mix heavy cream and buttermilk well.
- Pour into a pint jar, cover with cheesecloth and let sit at room temperature for 24 hours.
- Move to refrigerator and let sit for another 24 hours before using.
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 tsp fresh lime juice
- 1 c créme fraîche
- Add salt and lime juice to finished créme fraîche.
- Mix well and let sit in the refrigerator for another 24 hours before using.
